Voter ID Card (EPIC — Electors Photo Identity Card) भारत निर्वाचन आयोग (Election Commission of India) द्वारा जारी किया जाने वाला पहचान पत्र है।

What is Voter ID Card?
Voter ID Card (EPIC — Electors Photo Identity Card) is an identity card issued by the Election Commission of India.
In Simple Words: Voter ID Card lets you vote in elections. It is also a valid government ID proof. Every Indian citizen aged 18 or above can get it.

- जिनकी उम्र 18 साल या उससे ज़्यादा है और पहली बार Voter ID बनवाना है
- जो 17 साल के हैं लेकिन अगले साल 1 जनवरी तक 18 हो जाएँगे — वे भी अप्लाई कर सकते हैं
- जिनके पास पहले कभी Voter ID नहीं बना है
ज़रूरी दस्तावेज़:
- आधार कार्ड — पहचान और पते का प्रमाण
- पासपोर्ट साइज़ फोटो — 2 फोटो (ताज़ा, रंगीन)
- आयु प्रमाण — जन्म प्रमाणपत्र / 10वीं Marksheet / आधार (कोई एक)
- पता प्रमाण — आधार / राशन कार्ड / बिजली बिल (कोई एक)
- मोबाइल नंबर — OTP वेरिफिकेशन के लिए
प्रक्रिया:
- Step 1: Voter Portal पर Form 6 ऑनलाइन भरें
- Step 2: दस्तावेज़ अपलोड करें (Aadhaar, Photo, Age Proof)
- Step 3: OTP से वेरिफाई करें → Application Submit
- Step 4: BLO (Booth Level Officer) आपके घर आकर जाँच करेगा
- Step 5: सत्यापन के बाद 15-30 दिन में Voter ID जारी

- आप दूसरे गाँव/शहर/राज्य में शिफ्ट हो गए हैं
- शादी के बाद ससुराल में पता बदलना है
- पुराने पते पर Voter ID है, अब नए पते पर करवाना है
- एक ही विधानसभा क्षेत्र में पता बदला है या दूसरे क्षेत्र में
ज़रूरी दस्तावेज़:
- मौजूदा Voter ID Card
- नए पते का प्रमाण — आधार / राशन कार्ड / बिजली बिल / रेंट एग्रीमेंट
- पासपोर्ट साइज़ फोटो
- Self Declaration — कि पुराने पते पर अब नहीं रहते
प्रक्रिया:
- Step 1: Voter Portal पर Login → Form 8A चुनें
- Step 2: नया पता डालें और दस्तावेज़ अपलोड करें
- Step 3: Submit → नई जगह का BLO सत्यापन
- Step 4: पुराने पते से नाम हटेगा, नए पते पर जुड़ेगा
⚠️ ध्यान रखें: एक से ज़्यादा जगह Voter ID रखना गैरकानूनी है। शिफ्ट करने पर पुराने पते से नाम अपने आप हट जाता है।

- Step 1: Login to Voter Portal → Select Form 8A
- Step 2: Enter new address and upload documents
- Step 3: Submit → BLO verification at new place
- Step 4: Name removed from old address, added to new one
⚠️ Note: Having Voter ID in multiple places is illegal. On transfer, name is automatically removed from old address.

यह सेवा किसके लिए है?
- परिवार में किसी की मृत्यु हो गई है — उनका नाम Voter List से हटवाना है
- किसी का नाम दो बार (Duplicate) लिस्ट में है — एक हटवाना है
- कोई व्यक्ति स्थायी रूप से शिफ्ट हो गया है और पुराने पते का नाम हटवाना है
- फर्जी नाम (bogus entry) Voter List में है — शिकायत करनी है
ज़रूरी दस्तावेज़:
- मृत्यु प्रमाणपत्र — अगर मृत व्यक्ति का नाम हटवाना है
- Voter ID Card — जिसका नाम हटवाना है (कॉपी)
- आवेदक का ID — जो शिकायत कर रहा है (आधार / Voter ID)

- Step 2: जिसका नाम हटवाना है उसकी जानकारी भरें
- Step 3: कारण चुनें — मृत्यु / दोहरा नाम / शिफ्ट
- Step 4: दस्तावेज़ अपलोड करें → Submit
- Step 5: ERO (Electoral Registration Officer) सत्यापन के बाद नाम हटेगा
